We run everything from wedding childcare to large event activations and kids clubs, and we’re looking for someone to lead this space with confidence, organisation, and care. This role is perfect for a go-getter who is sales-minded, highly organised, a natural planner, and loves delivering unforgettable experiences. You’ll manage the full end-to-end of our wedding and event services, from enquiry through to pack-up, making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. About the Role You’ll be responsible for sales, event planning, coordination, and team rostering for all weddings and events. You’ll work closely with our marketing and bookings teams to keep everything aligned and flowing. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that blends sales, operations, and creativity. Key Responsibilities Sales and Growth Respond to all wedding and event enquiries within 24 business hours Provide accurate quotes and follow up within 24 hours Make weekly sales calls to venues, suppliers, and event organisers Build and maintain strong relationships with venues and referral partners Attend and organise open days, expos, and supplier meetings Update and manage leads and workflows Event Planning and Coordination Create and maintain a master calendar for all weddings and events Manage bookings for our Fun Aunties and Party Palace setups Coordinate logistics including run sheets, equipment, and team communication Ensure all event equipment is clean, stocked, and ready to go Develop new ideas to elevate the event experience Oversee on-site setup and pack down when required Work closely with the onsite team to ensure events are smooth, safe, and fun Team and Admin Roster and brief event sitters with clear, organised instructions Support sitter training and ensure procedures are followed Raise invoices and ensure payments are finalised prior to events Assist with face painting and event add-on bookings This Role Is For You If You enjoy sales and relationship building, not just admin You’re confident speaking with families, venues, and corporate clients You follow up properly and don’t let leads slip through the cracks You like owning a process from start to finish You’re organised, proactive, and calm under pressure You can balance big-picture thinking with hands-on coordination Why Join Coastal Babysitters You’ll step into a role with real ownership, clear expectations, and a supportive team behind you.
